Our Story

This is a real working ranch. The barn needs a new coat of paint and there’s always a fence that needs to be fixed. But that’s how we like it.

It’s a special gift to inherit something built over generations. The cattle herd, grain fields, corrals, and dirt roads were shaped by generations of stubborn, hardworking Henrickson's. The ranch has changed over the last 100 years, but our commitment to hard work and to raising healthy, happy cattle has not.

Our Name

A man and three children outdoors on a dirt path surrounded by trees. One child is holding a small dog on a leash, and another is crouched down near the dog. The children are smiling and wearing jackets, with the man bending down and talking to them.

Our direct-to-consumer venture needed a name, something meaningful to our family and rooted in the ranch. Naturally, we thought of our first family dog. Bandit was a springer spaniel, or as our dad would say, “one good hunting dog.”
