Our Story

This is a real working ranch. We use more duct tape than we should, the barn needs a new coat of paint, and there’s always a fence that needs to be fixed. But that’s how we like it.

It’s a special gift to inherit something built over generations. The cattle herd, grain fields, corrals, and dirt roads were shaped by four generations of stubborn, hardworking Henricksons—working day after day to build something great. The ranch has changed over the last 100 years but our commitment to hard work and to raising healthy, happy cattle has not.

Our Name

Our direct-to-consumer venture needed a name, something meaningful to our family and rooted in the ranch. Naturally, we thought of our first family dog. Bandit was a springer spaniel, or as our dad would say, “one good hunting dog.”
